I think that the people who knew what was going on 5 miles from their home had a responsibility to do something. But in reality, how do you stop the government, much less the Nazis, from killing the people in concentration camps? It would have been very difficult.
On the one hand, the Germans could have done something. But I think in the climate of fear, the feeling is better them than me. Congratulations on getting on.
